Through its DirectSat subsidiary founded in 2004, UniTek provides satellite television system installation, upgrade and repair services. DirectSat manages all operational activities in specific territories that include customer operations, warehousing, equipment installation, call center operations, new customer installations, upgrades, customer satisfaction compliance, and service and maintenance. The company also provides MDU engineering services. These services provided to DIRECTV are largely recurring in nature, driven by ongoing activity with new and existing customers as opposed to project-oriented, discretionary activity. UniTek deploys approximately 2,600 skilled technicians, with 25 office locations, two U.S. based call centers. The Company has market exclusivity through its HSP agreement, including three of the country’s top five DMAs (New York, Chicago and Philadelphia).

3 U.S. based call centers with over 115 agents. 1 offshore call center in the Philippines that presently utilizes 35 agents with additional capabilities available. We process in excess of 7,500 customer workorders each day.
